Weighing Guide

⚖️ How to Record a Weight-Based Entry

If your tournament is judged by weight, follow these guidelines to ensure your submission can be verified.

⚖️ Use Accurate Scales

Use a reliable, calibrated scale that is suitable for the size and weight of your catch or harvest.

🔄 Zero the Scale

Before weighing, ensure the scale is correctly zeroed (tared), including any container, sling, or support being used.

📍 Weigh Promptly

Record the weight as soon as practical after the catch or harvest to ensure an accurate result.

📸 Capture Clear Proof

Take clear photos or videos showing:

  • ✅ The entire catch or harvest
  • ✅ The weighing device
  • ✅ The weight display clearly visible
  • ✅ Everything visible in a single frame whenever possible
📐 Use the Correct Unit

Submit the weight using the unit required by the tournament (such as kg or lb).

⚠️ Important
Entries with unclear photos, unreadable weight displays, incorrect units, or insufficient proof may be rejected by the tournament organiser.
