Weighing Guide
⚖️ How to Record a Weight-Based Entry
If your tournament is judged by weight, follow these guidelines to ensure your submission can be verified.
⚖️ Use Accurate Scales
Use a reliable, calibrated scale that is suitable for the size and weight of your catch or harvest.
🔄 Zero the ScaleBefore weighing, ensure the scale is correctly zeroed (tared), including any container, sling, or support being used.
📍 Weigh PromptlyRecord the weight as soon as practical after the catch or harvest to ensure an accurate result.
📸 Capture Clear ProofTake clear photos or videos showing:
- ✅ The entire catch or harvest
- ✅ The weighing device
- ✅ The weight display clearly visible
- ✅ Everything visible in a single frame whenever possible
Submit the weight using the unit required by the tournament (such as kg or lb).
Entries with unclear photos, unreadable weight displays, incorrect units, or insufficient proof may be rejected by the tournament organiser.
